Specific feed safety standards

As part of the HACCP system, it is important that it is determined for every critical control point (CCP) which analysis result of undesirable substances can still lead to the delivery of a safe product.

Within the GMP+ certification scheme the term ‘rejection limit’ is used. To prevent rejection of products as much as possible, action limits have been established as well. Both the rejection and action limits are included in GMP+ BA1 Specific feed safety limits of the GMP+ Feed Certification Scheme. The limits have been classified into three categories: microbiological, chemical and physical. Within each category, the limits are sorted alphabetically.
