About GMP+ Task Forces

Every country and region has unique circumstances when applying the GMP+ standards. When clarity is needed, our Task Forces bring business representatives, consultants, and certification bodies from a particular region together to give us an insight into region-specific challenges.

Who are the Task Force members

Task Force members are volunteers from companies in the agri-feed supply chain, Registered Consultants, Certification Bodies and GMP+ employees. Volunteers represent both their respective companies and the segment they’re active in, downstream and upstream.

Our existing Task Forces include:

  1. Poland
  2. Italy
  3. Spain
  4. Brazil
  5. Danube Region (Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria)

The Program

Each Task Force organises several meetings a year to tackle topics and issues relevant for their setting. Smaller working groups are sometimes formed to prepare proposals or recommendations for specific topics for further discussion by the group. GMP+ International may put recommendations for improving the GMP+ FC scheme to our International Expert Committee for discussion.

Results

By sharing their practical experiences in implementing the scheme, Task Forces contribute to improving the GMP+ FC scheme, including on topics such as homogeneity and carry-over, purchasing, monitoring, transport and many more. The impact of these collaborative efforts are visible in GMP+ documents.
