To ensure that you can continue delivering your soy to different markets, make sure you have your certification in place before the end of 2024. Become certified for the relevant GMP+ FRA standard(s) or equivalent no later than 31-12-2024.
Companies that produce and/or trade soy (including soybeans, soy products, and soy derivatives) and/or compound feed containing soy and deliver to customers active in one or more of the following markets;
- QS
- QM Milch
- AMA Quality Seal
need to be certified for one of the GMP+ accepted standards (MI5.1, MI5.2, MI5.3 and MI5.6) or equivalent. If you are not certified, no soy deliveries will be possible as of 01-01-2025.
Only production and trade activities are currently within the scope of these requirements.
If you are in the scope of this requirement, we recommend you consult the GMP+ accepted standards to understand how they apply to your business operations. Please contact your Certification Body for the options to extend your scope and ensure your business continuation after 31-12-2024.
With increasing consumer awareness about sustainability issues, there is a growing demand for responsibly sourced soy products. Companies in the soy supply chain, including traders, processors, and retailers, are recognising the importance of adopting responsible practices and ensuring a global impact.
