That still seems a long way off, but we recommend you start looking at what preparations you can make in order to make the transition from the GMP+ FC scheme 2010 to the GMP+ FC scheme 2020 a smooth one.
Good preparations are half the battle
Switching is not difficult, but it does call for preparations. You will notice that the requirements have not changed significantly. Above all, they have been formulated more clearly and succinctly and are generally presented as outcome-oriented requirements rather than means-oriented requirements . For companies, this means you have more freedom to determine how you comply with a requirement. GMP+ International will be pleased to help you take the right steps to ensure a smooth transition.
- Go to our website and choose the language you want to read the documents in. Many documents are available in English, Dutch, German, Polish, French, Italian, Spanish and Czech.
- Open the F 0.3 – Scopes for certification in order to see which certification scope(s) are applicable to your company's activities
- Having established the certification scope(s), consult the tables in paragraph 2.2 to see which documents apply to you. Once you have the right documents, it is up to you to assess whether you meet the requirements.
- In this phase, it is useful to know where the requirements from the GMP+ FC scheme 2010 are listed in the GMP+ FC scheme 2020 (and vice versa). You can find them in the support document S 9.95 Transition cross-reference tables.
- If you believe you comply with the requirements, it is time to move on to the final step; scheduling a date for the audit with the Certification Body.
