The infographic shows the general findings from the monitoring results for 2023. More than 1350 GMP+ certified companies all over the world shared their monitoring data (anonymously) with the GMP+ Community. Compared to 2022, we observe a stable trend, with approximately 40,000 analysis results shared. The results for Aflatoxin B1 monitoring shared by participants increased by 7%, while the number of users monitoring heavy metals grew by 4%, reflecting increased awareness of these contaminants. Dioxin monitoring remained steady with a slight 2% rise, and testing for processed animal protein (PAP) showed substantial growth of 33%, highlighting growing interest in this area.
In contrast, within the microbiological group, and specifically for salmonella, there was a decrease of 7% in the number of samples.
Despite some reductions, overall engagement stayed strong this year. The community recognises the importance of data sharing and collaboration. The expanding user base not only enriches the database but also bolsters collective efforts to ensure feed safety.
