A GMP+ certified company must ensure that the supplied feed is safe. Still things can go wrong, in that case the Early Warning System, also known as EWS, helps us.
With the EWS notification form you can notify if contaminated feed is found. By reporting quickly and by submitting an EWS notification, you can prevent unsafe feed and contaminations from spreading throughout the chain at an early stage. All notification received by GMP+ International will be treated confidential.
How to submit an EWS notification?
We have developed a short video demonstrating how to submit an EWS notification. We also show where you can find the EWS warnings in the portal and the monthly overview of all EWS notifications. Watch the video here.
At the moment, the video is only available in English. We will shortly be adding subtitles in Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian and Polish.
What is the added value for your company?
GMP+ International manages the data and makes it accessible to GMP+ certified companies.
In the GMP+ Portal, you can find an overview of all EWS warnings. In addition, each month we publish an overview of the EWS notifications in the GMP+ Portal. This provides your organisation with up-to-date, practical information about feed safety. You can use this information directly for your own business operations, for instance as input for your own HACCP system. You can find the last update here.
We have a joint responsibility for ‘Feed Safety Worldwide’. GMP+ certified companies work together and combine their knowledge to reduce the risks to a minimum.
Other video’s
A short video on how to use the Risk Assessments is also available on YouTube.
Soon we will also publish a short explanatory video about the use of the GMP+ Monitoring database.
