African Swine Fever (ASF) is still spreading around the globe. GMP+ International has a leaflet available with useful recommendations to prevent any further spread of ASF among the GMP+ Community.
It is very important that pig farmers and those who enter their premises (for example, feed transporters) are aware of the risks of transmitting the virus, now that the virus has spread further (see map).
Feed companies are advised to pay extra attention to hygiene measures (personal hygiene, work clothing, footwear, etc.) when visits are paid/feed is delivered to companies in ASF risk areas.
Especially for transport companies, GMP+ International has created a leaflet containing useful recommendations.
